Privacy Policy

CalmTracking is developed and published by Kopernicus Oy ("we", "us"), a company registered in Finland. This policy describes what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Camera data

CalmTracking uses the iPhone's front-facing TrueDepth camera to track your gaze direction via Apple's ARKit framework. All camera processing happens locally on your device in real time. No images, video, or facial data are recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.

2. Game data

High scores and game progress are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This data is not transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is removed.

3. Advertising

CalmTracking displays ads provided by third-party advertising networks. These networks may collect and use certain data to serve relevant ads, including:

Device type and model
Operating system version
Advertising identifier (IDFA), if you have granted permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
General location (country/region level, not precise location)
Ad interaction data (impressions, taps)

If you decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, the advertising identifier is not shared and ads will be less personalized.

4. Analytics

We collect aggregate, non-personal analytics to understand how the app is used:

This data is aggregate and cannot be used to identify individual users.

5. What we do NOT collect

No personal information (name, email, phone number)
No account or login
No precise location data
No camera images or recordings
No health or biometric data
No in-app purchases or payment information

6. In-app purchases

CalmTracking does not offer in-app purchases. The app is free and supported by advertising.

7. Children's privacy

CalmTracking is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Data retention

We do not store any personal data on our servers. Local game data is retained on your device until you delete the app. Aggregate analytics are retained as provided by Apple's App Store Connect and our website analytics provider.

9. Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we do not collect personal data, there is typically nothing to request. You can control ad tracking through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
